Sabrina was a research associate working on the SARS-CoV-2 sequencing project. She graduated from Amherst College in 2018 with a BA in Mathematics and was a goaltender on the women’s ice hockey team. Prior to joining the Sabeti Lab, she worked as a quantitative analyst before completing her MS in Biomedical Sciences at Vanderbilt University in 2020. During her time at Vanderbilt, Sabrina was a member of the Friedman lab, where she characterized double-stranded break repair mechanisms following CRISPR/Cas9 cleavage and sought to quantify the frequency of correct repair in various genetic backgrounds.
