Kim Lagerborg is a PhD candidate in the Biological and Biomedical Science program at Harvard University. Her current focus is on engineering tissue specific adeno-associated virus (AAV) capsid variants for gene therapy applications. In addition to her current work, she also has interests in disease surveillance and host-pathogen interactions. Kim graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. There, she worked in the lab of Dr. Mohit Jain developing and utilizing high throughput mass spectrometry methods for small molecule screening across population scale cohorts.
