Liz is the Senior Manager of the Pathogen Genomics Center of Excellence Education Program, where she develops learning modules in genomic epidemiology and pathogen evolution to prepare the public health community to combat current and future infectious threats.
Before joining the Sabeti lab, Liz was most recently a science writer in the Klarman Cell Observatory at the Broad Institute, and she was previously a science editor at the STEM video publisher JoVE. She completed her Ph.D. at Princeton University, where she studied the evolutionary genomic processes associated with range expansion in eastern coyote populations.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys reading thrillers, playing with her cat, and running very slow 5Ks.
