Bridget Chak was a researcher at the Sabeti Lab. She oversaw the lab’s compliance/regulatory matters across all domestic and international sites, and contributes to genetic and epidemiological research efforts studying Ebola and Lassa Fever in West Africa. She worked to develop a novel mobile data collection system integrating genomic sequencing and clinical data for rapid detection of pathogen transmission and diagnosis.
Before joining the Sabeti Lab, Bridget was at Massachusetts General Hospital studying common and rare genetic loci and environmental predictors of risk and resilience for psychiatric disorders. She hopes to combine her interests in human evolution, genetics, and global health policy towards personalizing medicine.
