Shervin Tabrizi is a fourth year student at Harvard Medical School and has been a member of the Sabeti lab since his undergraduate days. His work in the lab has included study of natural selection in the human genome, human genetic association studies of infectious disease, and most recently, evolution in the cancer genome. He is broadly interested in leveraging genomics to understand human disease and uncover novel therapeutic avenues, with a particular interest in cancer. Shervin graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College in 2011 with an A.B. in Chemical and Physical Biology and completed his senior honors thesis in the Sabeti lab. He then joined the Sabeti lab full-time as a research associate for two years before starting medical school in Fall 2013.
